Weston Tech Meet Up

Love tech? Read about our Weston Tech Meet Up on this Blog Post.  Talk: AI (artificial intelligence); "Are we dead yet?" On this occasion due to Easter Weekend starting and OiConf happening in Bristol on 29 March, we're moving our March Meet Up to this following Thursday 5 April. At this gathering, Phil Hall will kick off proceedings with an overview presentation of AI: Are we dead yet? Come along if interested, likely to be at least a dozen folk here for you to meet and chat to, and always keen to chat with you if you'd like to do something at a forthcoming meet up too. Is it too early to start thinking about our summer party?! What's a Meet Up? A meet-up is a get together. A Meet Up (capital letters!) is a get together that loads of like-minded people can find through the Meet Up website, if you haven't heard of that before. At this Weston Tech Meet Up, there'll be an introduction and tour of The Stable creative hub for anyone who hasn't been here yet, followed by a lightning introduction to a few key tech speakers, before opening up the floor for others to introduce themselves (optional!) and to raise any questions or topics you'd like to discuss with the group. Then it's back to salty snacks, maybe a drink, and some chatting. This is a great chance for those who work from home or elsewhere to meet up with fellow tech-friendly people on the doorstep, right here in Weston. You're out there, I know you are, as our first Weston Tech Meet Up in association with TechSpark Bristol proved. Just come along, totally informal evenings and it'd be great to see some new faces each month, there were around 20 people at the first one alone which is a great turn out. If you want to see discussions or speakers on certain topics, just get in touch via email with The Stable or via the Meet Up messaging or Discussion board.  If you are really keen to add your own Meet Up events to the Weston Tech Meet Up group, just let me know we'll share admin rights to the group.  Cheers, Kerry and Team Stable
